PESHAWAR: KP’s adviser on information Ajmal Wazeer has said that the provincial government will take every possible measure for containing the global pandemic coronavirus.
Addressing a presser in KP’s capital Peshawar Ajmal Wazeer said that whatever initiative will be needed to mitigate the virus the government will take it.
Informing latest figures of the pandemic the adviser said that patients of the coronavirus are under treatment while nine have lost their lives so far.
He said that Chief Minister has ordered to provide additional funds to district health officers DH0s adding that whatever will be needed for containing the virus the government will take it.
Ajmal informed that the cases of the virus have reported in Kohat adding that benefits of the lock-down has surfaced.
He appealed the masses of the province to follow the precautionary measures strictly adding that as many as 2000 doctors are working in the province against the global pandemic.
The adviser apprised that there is no case of the coronavirus reported in Chitral and Kohistan.
He said that the government will provide relief to 21, 43000 households while he added that there is no flour crisis in the province.
