ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday submitted its response in the case of Light Natural Gas (LNG) in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
The anti-corruption body has presented its reply in a reply of ex-finance minister Muftah Ismail petition.
In its response the NAB said that Muftah Ismail used its power illegally as Chairman of Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL).
It further added that a supplementary reference has been filed against Shahid Khaqan Abbassi, Muftah Ismail and Shiekh Imran Ul Haque while malice of Muftah Ismail costed national exchequer a loss of more than Rs 21 billion.
The NAB has insisted the court not to approve bail after arrest of Muftah Ismail.
