Met Office Issues Heatwave Alert for Karachi


Karachi (August 7, 2017): Met Office has issued heatwave alert for Karachi for next two days.

As per Pakistan Meteorological Department weather advisory, heat wave may hit port city and temperature will remain around 34 centigrade but the real feel will be over 40 degree centigrade.

The office said there is no chances of rains in the port city during next three days.

It predicted mainly hot and humid weather for most parts of the country during the 24 hours.

However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Zhob divisions, upper FATA, Islamabad and Kashmir.
