KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) founder Mustafa Kamal has said that Imran Khan is not the prime minister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf but he is the prime minister of Pakistan.
Addressing a news conference in Karachi on Sunday, Kamal said that the city is facing numerous issues, including unavailability of vaccine, spread of diseases, dog bite cases, inflation, poor cleanliness etc but the PM is not paying heed to the problems.
He said the PM should set aside his self-esteem and talk to Sindh chief minister to formulate a strategy to address the problems being faced by the citizens of Karachi. Kamal said, “When PM could talk to Narendra Modi then why he can’t talk to Sindh CM.”
He said the country will not be governed on the mood of the prime minister.
He said the government is introducing new local government system in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa but has ignored Sindh.
He highlighted that a conspiracy is being hatched to eliminate PPP government from Sindh.
Kamal maintained, “We got independence from the Britishers but are being ruled by feudal lords.”
He asked, “What kind of a change is this. The change which the PTI talks of is false?”
The PSP leader said it is high time that the government takes issues of Karachi seriously and find their solutions.
