Islamabad (September 29, 2017): The ruling party PML-N has designed the future strategy keeping in view the ongoing political situation, deposed prime minister disqualification, NAB references, cases in accountability court and intra-party election.
According to sources close to PML-N, party has decided to elect ousted PM Nawaz Sharif as party head while Shahbaz Sharif will play role as next PM of the country, if PML-N becomes victorious, however the Chief Minister Punjab will be chosen not from the Sharif family.

Sources told that Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman will be considered as the strongest candidate for the CM Punjab slot. It is also learnt that PML-N has the plan to make large scale seat adjustment with allied party in next general election.
PML-N General Council Meeting:
The ruling party Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has summoned crucial general council meeting on October 3 and it is most likely that they will elect deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif as party head again after the passage of electoral bill in senate that paved the way for disqualified person to become party head.
The party has set up election commission for the election of the party head as Jafar Iqbal appointed as chairman election commission and senator Najam Hameed and Ali Afzal Jadoon will be the member of the election commission.According to the details, deposed PM Nawaz Sharif, who had to step down as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief after his disqualification from holding public office under the top court’s Panama Papers case verdict, is set to be elected the head of the party again on October 3.
Sources told the Abbtakk News that general council will elect ousted PM Nawaz Sharif as party leader again.
On the other hand, President Mamnoon Hussain has summoned the National Assembly session on October 2 and PML-N will try to get passed the electoral bill 2017 from lower house as well.
