LAHORE: Punjab’s Information Minister Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan responding on Shahbaz Sharif statement given today said that N-league didn’t pay billions of rupees outstanding dues to media which were all based on personal promotion of Sharif brothers.
In his statement Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan said that the incumbent PTI despite being opponent of the N-league paid its outstanding dues to media on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said that the PM decision paying of the media dues proved his friendliness with media.
The Minister said that we are ready to provide any facility to media in the leadership of the PM.
Talking about the special media package of the Punjab government announced on Friday he said that it is as per the vision of Chief Minister Punjab and the PM.
It is under consideration to provide 16 percent provincial tax exemption to media in media advertisement dues, he informed.
Fayyaz further informed that the provincial government also decided payment of advertisements related to Pakistan Super League (PSL) to media on daily basis.
He said that the Punjab government stands with media houses as well as every employee of it.
