Islamabad (February 28, 2018): National Accountability Bureau summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan in person on Thursday along with all the details regarding his offshore companies disclosed in Panama Papers.
Earlier the NAB had summoned Aleem Khan on February 26 but he did not appear before the NAB. Aleem Khan was directed to appear before the joint investigation committee at 10 am on March 01.Whereas, Aleem Khan was of the view that he was not summoned in person. He said on the previous hearing, his accountant appeared before the NAB and he was asked to submit more details, hence the accountant will submit recorded in the NAB office on March 01.Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan on Monday in relation to a corruption probe.

According to the NAB, the PTI leader did not provide relevant documents. The anti-graft body has directed Khan to appear at its Lahore office in person. In response to the development, Khan’s spokesman said that a lawyer of the PTI leader would appear before the NAB on Monday.
The spokesman said that the lawyer will submit all the record summoned by the NAB. He said that Aleem Khan respects courts and will appear whenever summoned.
