NAP Report Reveals Slight Decline in Terrorism Incidents


Islamabad (November 4, 2017): The Report on implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) has been released that shows the slight decline in terrorism incidents across the country.

“There are 417 incidents of terrorism were occurred during the year 2017 as security forces have conducted more than 3.6 million search operations countrywide,”report said.

The report says that during the search operations two hundred thousand and seventy two people were arrested, while 72 criminals involved in heinous crimes were executed.

“350 terrorists have been hanged in criminal cases, while 1315 cases registered and 2500 were detained on spreading religious hatred.

More than 98.3 million SIMs were blocked countrywide during the year,” it said.
