Islamabad (December 3, 2017): President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif has called the first meeting of the newly formed Central Working committee (CWC) tomorrow at 12:30 pm at Punjab House here.
The meeting will be chaired by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Invitations are being sent to members of CWC.
During the meeting matters pertaining to party’s political strategy and organizational issues will be discussed in the meeting. Important decisions regarding prevalent political situation in the country and addressing challenges with respect to coming general elections and making PMLN further active will also be made at the meeting.
Nawaz’s London visit to see his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz in London will also be discussed during the CWC meeting. Nawaz Sharif is expected to leave for London on December 5.
The ruling party PML-N had announced its Central Working committee (CWC) and Central Executive Committee yesterday to give presentation to all provinces and Azad Kashmir.
Giving the details of the committees PML-N spokesperson senator Asif Kirmani had said that Central Working Committee comprises of 109 and Central Executive Committee (CEC) comprises of 27 members.
According to declaration issued by the PML-N, Maryam Nawaz, Chaudhary Nisar, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Raja Zafarul Haq, Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Ayaz Sadiq, Hamza Shaba, Ch Sher Ali, Maryam Aurangzaib, Irfan Siddiqui, Ameer Maqam, Mushahidullah Khan, Rana Sanaullah, Asif Kirmani, Sanaullah Zehri, Farooq Haider, Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman, Pervez Rashid, Barjees Tahir, Mehtab Ahmed, Begum Ishrat Ashraf, Babu Sarfraz and Asad Khan Junejo are included in Central Executive Committee.
Asif Kirmani further said that the party president Nawaz Sharif has signed the notification in this connection.
