Islamabad (December 4, 2017): The Accountability Court has granted immunity for one week to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from appear before court, however court rejected the plea of Mayram Nawaz for seeking in changes in her earlier exemption plea.
According to details the accountability court resumed the hearing on deposed PM Nawaz Sharif and his daughter’s plea for immunity in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references.
In its ruling court exempted Nawaz Sharif for a week from Accountability Court hearing , however the same request filed by Nawaz Sharif daughter Maryam Nawaz has been turned down.

Earlier, as the hearing resumed the judge asked the Nawaz Sharif counsel when would his client appear before the court, adding that it would be better to record the statements of witnesses in the presence of accused.
On which Nawaz Sharif lawyer Khawaja Haris told the court that his client will appear before the court at 3:00pm, later court ordered the recording of the statement of witness relating to a private bank.
Earlier today, the Islamabad High Court rejected former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s plea seeking to club together all references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against him and his family.
A division bench of IHC comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani had reserved its verdict on the PML-N chief plea.
The court announced its verdict today, rejecting the plea to club together all the references and hold single trial.
