Nawaz Sharif Lands in Islamabad to Lead Party Huddle


Islamabad (November 6, 2017): The former Prime Minister and President of ruling party PML-N Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Islamabad on Monday accompanied with daughter Maryam Nawaz to lead party meeting.

The crucial meeting of the party will be held shortly in which vital decisions to be expected.

Earlier, before leaving his residence Jati Umra in Lahore, deposed PM has met with his counsel Khawaja Haris along with other legal experts, provincial minister Rana Mashhud and prominent industrialist Chaudhary Muneer separately.

During the meeting Nawaz Sharif has reiterated his stance to face the accountability court and defend the cases with determination,. He also pledged that struggle will continue till the justice met.

Leaders have pray for the immediate recovery of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, who is under throat cancer treatment in London, and they have also discussed country’s political situation, appearance in accountability court, PTI, PPP public rallies and protection of PML-N vote bank in Southern Punjab.PML-N Consultative Huddle 

The consultation meeting of PMLN to discuss a range of issues including population census, new electoral constituencies, and next elections will be held today. The meeting will be chaired by Nawaz Sharif at Punjab House today.

The meeting, to be attended by top leaders of the party, is the part of Nawaz’s consultations with the party hierarchy and leaders since he return from London.

According to sources Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and chairman PMLN Raja Zafarul Haq and other top leaders of the party will be attending the meeting during which among other things matters pertaining to prevalent political situation in the country and party issues wil be discussed. Strategy for 2018 elections and the constitutional amendment about electoral constituencies will also be chalked out during today’s meeting.
