Lahore (April 16, 2018): Following the Lahore High Court judgment banning Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz for airing anti-judiciary speeches a crucial meeting was held between former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif at Jati Umra to discuss the situation appeared after the ruling.
According to sources both the leaders discussed the issues related to country’s current political situation and party’s internal affairs.
PML-N head Shehbaz Sharif apprised the former prime minister regarding the concern Chaudhary Nisar expressed during his meeting with later. The LHC todays’ orders to ban Nawaz and Maryam airing anti-judiciary speeches for 15 days was also came under discussion.Both the leaders agreed to accelerate the election campaign 2018.
Talking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif PML-N government has completed the public interest development projects on priority basis and the journey of serving the people will continue.
Chief minister Punjab stressed there was need to move forward by joining hands with solid unity among the party ranks.
