QUETTA: PML-N chief and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address a rally organised by the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) in Quetta on Saturday.
According to details, the former prime minister left his Jati Umra residence in Lahore earlier and arrived in Quetta where he will address a rally organised by PMAP.
Nawaz Sharif was supposed to participate in an advisory meeting of the PML-N where the party’s senior leadership was expected to apprise the ex-prime minister on the political situation prevalent in the country.
However, the former prime minister’s route was changed at the last minute and instead of attending the party meeting, he arrived directly in Quetta.
As per reports, thirty-thousand seats have been placed at the venue for the PML-N chief’s address.
Nawaz Sharif’s rally comes in the backdrop of the government facing serious challenges from religious parties who have succeeded in forcing a federal minister to resign from his post after the Khatam-e-Nabuwwat amendment clause sparked unrest across the country.
