ISLAMABAD: A special meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) on coronavirus will be held today (Monday) to finalize the strategy regarding coronavirus for the month of June, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the meeting. The meeting will finalize a comprehensive plan for the month of June to tackle the ongoing pandemic, and deliberate on extending or removing whichever lockdown restrictions are still in place.
The meeting will also be attended by some federal ministers and chief ministers of four provinces along with other dignitaries. Military and National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) officials will give briefing over the matter.
The NCC will analyze the measures taken against the pandemic and make decision whether to further relax the lockdown or to tighten it with mutual consultation.
The meeting will deliberate to further mobilize the train service and authenticate the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) decisions.
