Lahore (April 15, 2018): The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar one again met on Sunday. It is the second meeting between the two leaders in last 48-hours.
According to sources, the two discussed various party issues, including a strategy for the upcoming general elections and ways to strengthen the party, along with Shehbaz’s recent trip to Karachi and Peshawar.

Moreover, according to sources, the two party leaders discussed in the two-hour-long meeting the recent defection of PML-N lawmakers from south Punjab.
On April 14, Disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader and former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar on Saturday dismissed rumors that he was seeking ticket from the ruling PMLN for general polls 2018.
“Who asked for ticket? Statements pertaining to awarding ticket to me are being issued every now and then. The question [in this regard] arises if someone is pleading for the ticket.I have never asked for ticket in the past and will never do so in future”, asserted Ch Nisar while responding to Maryam Nawaz’s statement.
“It seems from Maryam Nawaz’s statements that biggest issue of country at present is issuance of ticket to me”, taunted Nisar.Earlier, former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar met with Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore yesterday (April 13). The meeting between the two senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders continued for two hours.During the meeting, Nisar and CM Punjab discussed issues pertaining to the party. Sources said that the two leaders also exchanged views over the disqualification of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for life. The two leaders also discussed matters related to the Karachi visit.Earlier this week, speculation was rife that the senior disgruntled PML-N leader will join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, however later he categorically denied and said it is nothing but a rumor.
PPP leader Nabil Gabol had claimed that recently Nisar met with Imran Khan, however, the news was denied by Nisar’s spokesman.
