North Korea seeks only partial lifting of sanctions: Ri Yong-Ho

North Korea's foreign minister Ri Yong Ho
North Korea has vowed to stick to its position even if the United States seeks further talks on denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

Speaking after a summit in Vietnam between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, North Korea’s foreign minister Ri Yong Ho, said Pyongyang asked only for partial sanctions relief in exchange of dismantling its main nuclear site at Yongbyon.

But the Trump administration insists the North demanded a complete lifting of the measures.
