ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) taking action against the companies responsible for the petrol crisis has fined a sum of Rs 30.5 million.

The OGRA has also instructed all the companies to ensure ample stocks of petrol.

The oil regulator rejected the responses submitted by the oil companies on the show-cause notices while the OGRA has fined a sum of Rs 30.5 million to the six companies involved in an artificial scarcity of petrol.

The regulator also directed all the companies to ensure stock of petrol in ample quantity on their petrol pumps while it also warned all the companies if the crisis not ended then their licences can be confiscated.
