ISLAMABAD: A parliamentary delegation from Oman on Thursday called on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi while Foreign Minister Qureshi briefed the delegation a gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir by India.
The delegation from Oaman in the meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi discussed bilateral relations, situation of occupied Kashmir including matters of mutual interest.
Both sides agreed to promote business and trade relations between the two countries.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Oman and Pakistan can take relations between the two countries to new heights.
Briefing the grave situation of Indian Held Kashmir, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Muslim world have to play effective role for the oppressed Kashmirs.
Chairman Majlis-e-Shura of Oman said that Pakistan is like a gateway to the Central Asian countries for Oman adding that his country believes to solve problems and dispute through talks and in a peaceful manner.
