Eleven suspects were arrested and more than 190 weapons along with ammunition were seized during an operation conducted by FC Balochistan and the local police in Kili Deba, Quetta under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.
According to the ISPR, medical camps were also established and 2,420 locals were treated.
A joint police-FC operation was launched in parts of the provincial metropolis late Friday night in view of the recent spate of target killings and bombings in Quetta.
“More than 3,000 security personnel and 208 teams – also comprising 208 women personnel – are participating in the operation,” said Quetta FC Commander Brigadier Khalid Baig while speaking to the media on Saturday.
In another intelligence-based operation, a wanted suspect was also apprehended from Killi Segi in Killa Abdullah.
