Pak-Afghan Ties Back on Track


Islamabad (June 29, 2018): The widening gulf between Pakistan and Afghanistan is being narrowed as the element of trust can be seen between both countries.

The views made by the Chairman Regional Peace Institute Rauf Hassan on the end of the two-day Pak-Afghan track to dialogue on Friday.

Briefing to journalists in Islamabad, Rauf Hassan said that the relations between both countries getting improve as the passage of time with success and participants tried to work out to enhance trust between them.“A joint mechanism has been established in last three months between Pakistan and Afghanistan forces and it is a positive development,” he said.

Commenting over the Indian lobby in Afghanistan, Rauf Hassan said that Pakistan should have been focused on Afghanistan rather India as no country can stop Indian or any other country to develop the relationship with Afghanistan.

Talking on the occasion, the professor Danish Defence College David said that Pakistan should stress to improve its ties with neighbouring countries along with reviewing its Afghan policy.
