ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to make joint efforts and enhance cooperation for achieving lasting peace and stability.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the agreement to this effect reached at a meeting between Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt and the visiting delegation of Afghan National Army led by Commander 201 Corps Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaman Waziri in Peshawar.
Both countries re-affirmed their resolve to continue fight against terrorism.
Matters of mutual interest including mechanism for border security also came under discussion. –SAMAA/APP
