Pakistan, China, Afghanistan Trilateral Dialogue To Be Held Today

ISLAMABAD: The Trilateral dialogues between Pakistan, China and Afghanistan will be held in the federal capital today.

This would be the third trilateral dialogue, actually initiated by Beijing in 2017 amid rising tensions between Islamabad and Kabul with an objective to help normalize relations and start joint development projects in Afghanistan.

According to sources, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi would lead Pakistani delegation at the dialogue.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi would be leading a high-level delegation while Afghanistan would likely be represented by its Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani as National Security Advisor (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib is engaged in peace talks with Afghan Taliban.
