Web Desk (June 12, 2018): Pakistan to take on Scotland today in first T20 International, high from their ODI win against England, Scotland will be looking to upset Pakistan, the highest ranked T20I team. Both the matches will start at 8pm Pakistan Standard Time.
Pakistan are currently the number one side in the ICC T20I team rankings while Scotland are ranked 11.
However, Scotland recently enjoyed the greatest victory in their cricket history by beating world number one-ranked ODI team England by six runs in a thrilling match at Edinburgh on Sunday.“We were not taking them lightly even before the England match,” said Pakistan’s captain Sarfraz Ahmed ahead of T20Is against Scotland.
The second T20I will be played on Wednesday, June 13th in Edinburgh.
The match will begin at 8pm Pakistan Standard Time.
Haris Sohail in for Babar Azam
In the T20 squad against Scotland, Haris Sohail will replace Babar Azam who fractured his forearm during batting in the Lord’s Test.
Azam has been sidelined for at least four to six weeks as he recovers from the injury.
