The governments of Pakistan and Turkey have agreed to raise the issue of Palestinians’ massacre at the hands of Israeli forces at all international forums, including the United Nation.

The move came after Israeli troops killed at least 60 Palestinians during clashes and protests along the Gaza border against the US embassy opening in Jerusalem on Monday – the conflict’s bloodiest day in years.

On Tuesday, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim made a phone call to Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and invited him to attend an Extraordinary Session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) scheduled to be held in Turkey on 18 May.

In this meeting, Islamabad and Ankara will urge all Islamic countries to strongly condemn the killings of Palestinians by Israeli forces and decide some strategy to find a peaceful way to resolve conflict between Israel and Palestine.

According to the government diplomatic sources, Pakistan and Turkey will make diplomatic contact with all key countries on the issue of Israel’s recent aggression in occupied territory and to raise the matter on the international level.

The two countries with the help of the international community will try to increase pressure on Israel and the United States by using the OIC platform to avoid such brutality against Palestinians.
