Kabul (November 6, 2o17): The diplomat of Pakistan Counselor General, Nayyar Iqbal was shot dead in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad on Monday.
According to details, some unknown assailants targeted the Pakistan diplomat and fired six bullets in Jalalabad as he was lost his breath on the spot.
The unidentified assailants were riding motorbikes, diplomatic sources say.
Rana Naiyyer had been working as an assistant at Pakistan Consulate in Jalalabad, Dr Mohammad Faisal, a spokesman for Pakistan’s Foreign Office said, condemning the murder of the diplomatic staffer.
The spokesman called on the Afghan government to intensify security of Pakistani diplomats in Afghanistan.
The Foreign Office also summoned Afghan charge d’affaires and lodged a strong protest with him over the killing, Faisal said.
The Afghan charge d’affaires was also handed a protest note, he added.
