Islamabad (July 17, 2017): At one point during the hearing of the Panama implementation case Justice Ejaj-ul-Hassan, who is a member of the three-member bench hearing the case, remarked that the court is not restricted by the findings of the JIT because not all the documents are not certified.
Meanwhile, the counsel of the PTI requested the court to call Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff for cross examination.
Member of parliament Shaikh Rasheed arguing his case argued that Sahrif family is a group of unnamed owners and if the court decides to send the case to NAB a JIT should also be formed to avert any mishandling.
On the other hand, the counsel of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members Khawaja Harris plead the court to provide Volume 10 of the JIT report.
The Sharif family and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar submitted their objections to the JIT report.
