Islamabad (July 28, 2017): Federal Minister for Railways on Friday termed the Panama Leaks as conspiracy of international powers targeting Putin, Nawaz Sharif and David Cameron.
In multiple tweets just hours before the SC’s verdict on Panama case, Rafique termed the process as a revenge instead of accountability.
He claimed that PTI Chief Imran Khan become part of the conspiracy just for his lust of power.
He added that many political and apolitical forces in Pakistan became part of the conspiracy out of revenge, hate and prejudice.
The minister however clarified that no institution of the country was part of the conspiracy.
He also objected over the proceeding of the Panama case, saying that justice should have not only be done but must also have seemed to be done during the process.
He deplored that the PML-N justified objections and reservations during the proceeding of the case were ignored.
He said that the lengthy report of JIT was a classical example of injustice and bad intentions. He wondered that how the JIT prepared such a report within 60 days, saying that ghouls might have helped the JIT.
Saad said that the PML-N government had been facing and failing conspiracies during the last four years.
He added that the mindset to remove an elected Prime Minister through judicial verdict was a deadly poison for the country.
