Islamabad (August 2, 2017): Newly-elected Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday called on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Murree.
As per details, Abbasi went to Murree where Nawaz Sharif is staying along with his family after his disqualification, and met him.
During the meeting, overall political situation of the country and formation of federal cabinet were discussed.
Sources said that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Shairf was also present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, a high level meeting of PML-N headed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is underway in Murree. Senior party leaders including the newly-elected Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi are also attending the meeting.
Sources said that the meeting is considering over new federal cabinet and other important issues. Though there are reports that Chaudhry Nisar has refused to join the new cabinet, he is also attending the meeting.
