Islamabad (July 30, 2017): Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has dismissed media reports giving impression that he was considering Azad Jammu Kashmir’s annexation with any other country, saying that media reports were presented in distorted shape.
Addressing a press conference AJK Prime Minister said that he cannot ever think of AJK’s separation from Pakistan, adding that his last day statement was distorted.
“Our hearts beat with Pakistanis and I will still stand behind my words,” he said.
He said that his entire presser was about the Supreme Court’s verdict with regard to the premier’s disqualification.
He added that a video of the session was available and could be referred to for clarification. While expressing displeasure over Sharif’s disqualification, Hiader said Nawaz Sharif is his leader.
“I will speak over articles 62 and 63,” he maintained. “I’m not a pigeon to close my eyes in troubled times.”
“I condemn the fallacious impression was given with regard to my statement and the way it was presented,” he added.
During the news conference, the AJK premier expressed his support, saying the future of Kashmiris was linked to Pakistan’s prosperity.
