ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, visited the restive Line of Control (LoC) on Friday, said the military’s media wing Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR).
As per a brief statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the premiere was also accompanied by Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chairman of Special Committee on Kashmir Syed Fakhar Imam.
Talking on the occasion, PM Imran Khan said while our current efforts are to expose fascist Indian regime to the world, our Armed Forces remain fully capable and prepared to thwart any Indian misadventure or aggression.
He said India’s deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the continued siege of innocent Kashmiris in Indian Jammu and Kashmir are worst examples of the human rights violations.
The prime minister was accompanied by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak and Chairman Kashmir Committee Fakhar Imam.
