ISLAMABAD: The chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday accused that Prime Minister Imran Khan was trying to protect a person who was traitor as the verdict in Pervez Musharraf case will strengthen the democracy in the country.
Talking to media in Islamabad, chairman PPP said that the All Parties Conference (APC) will be held in Islamabad on Tuesday (tomorrow), adding that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has not shared any plan with them.
The PPP chairman further hoped that he [Fazlur Rehman] will share the plans in the APC.
Bilawal went on to say that the cases against Asif Zardari are false, adding that the Supreme Court will decide where the case would be heard. He said, “We expect justice from the court.”
“The health of the former president is in the hands of government’s doctors,” Bilawal said and added Zardari should be given facility of treatment from the personal doctor.
To a question, he said that the government has given relief to the rich instead of poor, adding that the bailout package was given to the billionaires.
