Islamabad : Former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi sarcastically lambasted the government said that he thinks that the coronavirus spread through country due to the 18th amendment and if the amendment gets removed might also end the virus as well.
Addressing National Assembly (NA) session, the stalwart of Pakistan Muslim League-N said that the lockdown in around 75 percent of the country was not imposed.
The ex-premier said that Prime Minister has different opinion while his ministers have some other stand adding that the PM addressed on the topic for 12 times.
Shahid Khaqan said that the PM said that the lockdown will not be imposed and then he said that the elite class enforced the lockdown and asked that what the government is doing.
He said that four ministers addressed the current session of the NA but they didn’t inform what is being done for the prevention of the coronavirus.
The PML-N senior leader said that Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and other ministers not addressed any single issue of related to the virus during their speeches.
The ex-premier said that Pakistan is the only country of the world where people underwent corona test without any reason adding that nothing like this happens around the world.
He asked the government tell us what strategy it has against the coronavirus and people saw meetings after meetings and lectures and after lectures.
