KARACHI (August 12, 2017): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqn Abbasi reached Karachi on a daylong visit.
Prime Minister Abbasi arrived in the city on his maiden visit following his elections as chief executive of the country.
After arrival in the port city, he went straight to Mazar-e-Qauid to offer Fateha at the grave of Father of the Nation.

The PM laid floral wreath on the tomb of Quaid-e-Azam and offered Fateha.
Earlier, Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah received the Prime Minister at the airport.
Later, the Prime Minister left for Governor House where he is scheduled to hold meetings with officials and businessmen.
Sources said that the Prime Minister will review progress on the federally-funded projects in Sindh especially Karachi.
He will also meet the delegations of PML-N, MQM Pakistan, and religious scholars during his Karachi visit.
