PML-N Activists Hold Protests Against Disqualification of Nawaz Sharif


Islamabad (July 30, 2017): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) disgruntled activists staged protest demonstrations in Lahore and other cities.

According to the details, PML-N minority wing expressed their solidarity with their leader Nawaz Sharif and held protest demonstration outside Lahore Press Club on Saturday.

On the other hand, local government representatives hold a protest demonstration against Sharif’s disqualification at Istanbul Chowk.

According to local media reports, angry workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) set tires on fire and blocked the road in front of Data Darbar in Lahore. They raised slogans in support of Nawaz Sharif.

A few members of Muslims Student Federation, affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League-N, staged a demonstration in front of the Peshawar Press Club to express their anger over the Supreme Court judgment, disqualifying Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Panama corruption case.

PML-N workers burnt tyres and blocked roads in Gujranwala against Supreme Court’s verdict disqualifying Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The agitated PML-N workers chanted slogans rejecting the verdict. They burnt tyres and blocked flow of traffic on Jinnah Road.

PML-N activists hold protest demonstrations against Sharif’s disqualification in different cities on Saturday.
