Islamabad (February 24, 2018): Following the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as party president, the appointment of new party president has put the entire PML-N in doldrums, however to get rid of from the issue the ruling party has called Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on February 27, announced by the prime minister Abbasi’s adviser Irfan Siddiqui.
Talking to senior journalists in Islamabad, adviser to PM Abbasi Irfan Siddiqui denied any decision regarding the appointment of Shehbaz Sharif as PML-N head and said that Nawaz Sharif will consult other party leaders over the issue and than will take the final decision.

“The role of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in party’s decision making could not be ruled out as no one can replace such a popular leader,” he said adding that the issue will be resolved amicably in the central executive committee meeting.
“Those considering they ousted Nawaz Sharif are wrong as they have made him the epicentre of the system,” he said adding that if decision to pulls out the word “N” from party name than party will make strategy over the issue.
