PPP Always Raised Voice Against Dictatorship: Bilawal


Islamabad (December 5, 2017):The chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto has  said on Tuesday that Nawaz Sharif had tried to become Ameer-ul-Momaneen tempering constitution, however Benazir Bhutto had become bottleneck in his way as PPP always raised voice against the dictatorship.   

Addressing to a big public rally celebrating party’s golden jubilee in Islamabad’s Parade ground Bilawal Bhutto said that whenever regime handed over to the PPP, the country was in deteriorating condition but PPP had always taken Pakistan out of trouble.

“PPP will restore the writ of the state that was eroded in the recent events seemed alarming,” he pledged.

“My mother Benazir Bhutto has unveiled the peaceful face of Islam to rest of the word,  she had put Pakistan on path of democracy and parliamentary tradition and even she had laid down his life in the way,” he said during his emotional speech amid warm slogans from charged workers who were gathered across the country.

He underscored that PPP always came in power for the people and struggled for the people.

“The democracy is the only element that can unite the country and solution of all issues is in dispensation of democracy,” he said.

Islam rejects the notion of extremism, said Bilawal, adding that the PPP will not let the society move towards extremism.

He said that it is the third generation of the PPP which is carrying on the legacy for the sake of democracy.

“I congratulate those who have laid the basis of the PPP and stood against the dictatorship,” said Bilawal.

“Benazir raised her voice against terrorists,” said Bilawal, adding that the late prime minister always stood against martial law and ended Martial Law Regulation.

He has also claimed  that former president Asif Ali Zardari had laid foundation of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
