Karachi (July 30, 2017): Rallies to express solidarity with ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif are being held in many cities of the country by the workers, supporters, and sympathisers of PMLN.
A large number of charged party workers staged a march in Raiwind, the family abode of the disqualified prime minister, to express solidarity with Nawaz Sharif and party leadership. The protestors chanted slogans in support of party leadership.
In Multan agitated woman workers of PMLN staged a rally to express solidarity with the disqualified prime minister. Headed by district vice president of the party Dr. Ayesha the PMLN women gathered at Kumharan Chowk. They blocked the road, chanted slogans against chairman PTI Imran Khan, wrote down Imran’s name on eggs and broke down. Nawaz Sharif lives in our hearts and he is our prime minister, the woman PMLN protestors said.
Activists of Muslim League Youth Wing staged a rally to express solidarity with outed prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Uch Sharif. The rally participants who carried placards and PMLN flags chanted pro-Nawaz slogans.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has lauded PMLN has for setting precedent for public service. Public welfare and country’s progress is our agenda, he said in a statement issued at Lahore.
Lauding ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif Shahbaz claimed that he lives in the hearts of people. We are proud of the unforgettable national services rendered by Nawaz Sharif under whose leadership such national development targets were achieved that have no precedent in the country’s history, he added.
Nawaz Sharif pulled out the country out of economic collapse and set it out on the road of development, Shahbaz said.
