Islamabad (July 29, 2017): The district administration on Saturday gave permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold public meeting titled as thanksgiving rally at capital’s Parade ground with certain conditions.
On Friday Imran Khan announced to mark Sunday as thanksgiving day with a mass public meeting at Parade Ground on Sunday over the SC verdict disqualifying Nawaz Sharif.
On Saturday PTI local leadership move an application to district administration seeking permission to hold the rally at Parade Ground on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad allowed PTI to proceed with its planned Thanskgiving rally at the ground with certain condition.
The PTI will be bound to end the rally by 11:00 pm in the night.
The PTI will not hinder traffic flow on Expressway and Murree Road.
DC Islamabad said that police had been instruction to make proper security arrangement for the meeting.
