PTI Asks NA Speaker to Intervene In PM Anti-Senate Statement


Islamabad (April 06, 2018): The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has asked the speaker National assembly to play its role over the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi anti-Senate chairman statement, in which PM has termed senate chairman elected after trading of votes.

In a letter to National Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq PTI requested the speaker he should play its role to get rid of tension appeared after the controversial statement of PM Abbasi regarding newly elected chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjran in which he alleged that he was elected chairman after trading of votes.Senate, NA Session To Be Held On April 9, 10“Prime Minister continuously airing statements against the chairman Senate and the situation occurred after his statement needs your instant attention as your intervention can minimize the tension created among the lawmakers,” PTI’s Fida Muhammad told speak through letter.

He further stated that NA speaker intervention in the issue can yield positive results.
