PTI, MQM Harmed United Opposition: Shah

Islamabad (September 30, 2017): Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Saturday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) had harmed joint opposition by their unilateral move to change opposition leader.

Talking to media, Shah said that PTI and MQM had broke the joint opposition through their unilateral move to change Opposition Leader in the NA.

He said that in the past he had accommodated PTI and Justice Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim was made chief election commissioner on PTI’s proposal.He said that had PTI was desirous to get the Opposition Leader’s slot, he should have talked to him.Shah, who is a PPP veteran, said that except PPP and PTI all opposition parties were with him.
