Lahore (June 03, 2018): Former Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and former Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rashid will meet in Lahore today again, to finalize a name for caretaker Chief Minister for the province.
PML (N) has proposed two more names for consideration for Caretaker Chief Minister’s nomination in Punjab.

PTI has already proposed four names, including Dr. Hassan Askari, Yaqub Izhar, Ayaz Amir and Orya Maqbool Jan for the slot.
A day earlier, confusion surrounded the list of candidates suggested by PTI for the caretaker chief minister of Punjab.
After Opposition leader and outgoing PTI parliamentary leader, Mahmoodur Rasheed presented the names of Orya Maqbool Jan, Yaqub Izhar, and Hassan Askari, party spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry later took to Twitter to announce the candidates proposed as caretaker CM which did not include Orya’s name.
