Lahore: Punjab government has decided to impose strict lock-down to contain the spread of novel coronavirus while the decision will be implemented from intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.

In his statement, Punjab’s Information Minister Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan said that for the protection of the people a strict lock-down will be implemented from today’s midnight.

Fayyaz Chohan said that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be implemented in cattle markets and during the Eid Ul Adha.

He also hinted that restaurants, markets and theaters will be opened after Moharram.
