ISLAMABAD:Met Department has forecast heavy rain and snowfall in northern parts of Balochistan including Quetta on Sunday (today) and Monday.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department rain is likely to hit Baluchistan, lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, some places in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, upper Sindh.
In the meantime heavy rain is expected in Northern Baluchistan which may generate flash flooding in local nullah while the rain will continue to lash on Monday as well.
Karachi is expected to receive light rainfall between Monday night and Tuesday morning, the met office said its forecast.
Kalam was the coldest place in the country where mercury recorded at negative 15 degree centigrade while temprature in other areas recorded as follows, Skardu, -13, Store -9, Bagrot, Gops -8, Malam Jaba -7, Para Chinar -6 and Rawlakot -5.
