ISLAMABAD: Minister of States for Narcotics Control Shehryar Afridi has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision is to eradicate corruption from the country and strengthen national institution.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said we striving hard for implementation of law under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership.
He said we respect the courts’ decision in Rana Sanaullah’s case and following the legal procedures it will be challenged the it in supreme court after examining written court’s verdict of Lahore high court.
Shehryar Khan Afridi said Rana Sanaullah is still an accused in narcotics case and the honorable Lahore High Court has only granted him a bail while the trial is still pending before an anti-narcotics court.
He said as per promise, I produced all relevant evidences including footages within seventeen days before formal beginning of the trial.
The Minister of State also urged media to show both sides of the coin while reporting on Rana Sanaullah’s case.
He said ANF is a professional institution, striving hard for the eradication of drugs from the country to save future generations. He said neither he, nor Anti-Narcotics Force has any personal grudge against any individual
