ABU DHABI: Captain Sarfraz Ahmed has said that spinner Yasir Shah is the life of the team’s bowling line-up in United Arab Emirates (UAE), Samaa reported.
He made the remark in a press conference here in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
Ahmed stated that the team has learned a lot from retired cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan.
He also said that there will be no difference to their style of play by the new cricketing laws.
“We are using those cricket bats which are prescribed in the law,” he said.
The Pakistani skipper further stated that the side has tried its level best to strengthen its middle order.
He added that Azhar Ali will bat at No. 3 while Asad Shafiq will bat at No. 4.
The first test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will start from 28th September at Abu Dhabi.
