Karachi (July 30, 2017): MQM Pakistan Chief Farooq Sattar has demanded to take action over threats given from London to MQM workers, saying that MQM Pakistan has adopted no-violence policy and now the politics of ‘Mohajir killed and killer’ must end.
MQM Korangi District UC-13 Vice Chairman Mohammed Rashid’s funeral prayer was offered in Jamia Mosque Rifah-e-Aam Society, which was attended by Farooq Sattar, Waseem Akhtar, Arshad Vohra, Nayyer Raza, Rehan Hashmi and others.
Talking to media after offering funeral prayers, MQM Pakistan Chief Farooq Sattar strongly condemned the killing of his party worker, saying that UC Vice Chairman Mohammed Rashid was a senior party worker. Earlier two PSP workers had been killed as well and the new terrorism wave is extremely dangerous. He said that if terrorism wave was not prevented then more problems will arise in the city.
Farooq Sattar said that there will is no killer in our party, but the victims, adding that the State is responsible to provide the workers and Parliament members protection and security. Sattar said that his party workers killing is the result of taking votes in PS-114.
Sattar further said that all the major issues including employment, quota system, Municipal powers, sewerage system and transport must be resolved on immediate basis.
