Saudi Arabia’s deputy defence minister Mohammad bin Abdullah al-Aysh has lauded Pakistan’s efforts, successes and sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
The Saudi dignitary held a meeting with army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa to discuss the broader regional security situation on Wednesday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
General Qamar, the ISPR added, assured the Saudi minister of the importance Pakistan attaches to its strategic relationship with the kingdom.
He reiterated to his counterpart the unwavering commitment to the defence of Harmain Sharifain as well as safeguarding the territorial integrity of KSA, the military’s media wing added.
Mohammad bin Abduallah also reaffirmed his country’s support to Pakistan’s position on all matters.
