Lahore (July 28, 2017): The workers of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) came out on streets and staged protest against the disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif by Supreme Court and chanted slogans in support of his leader, however simultaneously their opponents particularly PTI workers are celebrating the SC decision and termed it is the foundation of new Pakistan.
Lahore : The former PM supporters started protest from Lahore press club and marched to Shahdrah where they burnt tyres and chanted slogans in favour of Nawaz Sharif. Later they marched through Liberty, Thokar Niaz Baig and Garhi Shaho terming the court decision biased. However as the rain lashed the city PML-N workers suddenly disappeared.On the same time the workers, including women workers in larger numbers, of PTI held celebration rally in Lahore and march different roads of the city. They gathered at Lalik Chauk and chanted slogans in favour of Imran Khan and SC.
Faisalabad: The PML-N supporters converged to Council Chaok and changes slogans- Nawaz Sharif Beqasoor and marched through the main thoroughfares of the city. On the same time and very near to the PML-N, PTI workers held celebration rally and danced on drum beating.Multan: PML-N workers led by district president Bilal Butt came out streets and reached at Kaschahri Chaok where they clashed with PTI workers, who were already celebrating SC decision.
PTI workers danced and chanted slogans in support of Imran Khan at Court Roundabout. They also distributed sweets among the people.
Peshawar: PMl-N workers and women wing held separate rallies in solidarity with former PM Nawaz Sharif led by member provincial assembly Sobia Khan. They chanted slogans against the SC verdict and termed it conspiracy against PML-N government. The workers of PTI and PMl-N came face to face at Press Club Peshawar and they indulged brawl even used punches against each other.Quetta: The workers of PTI and PPP took to the roads after the Panama case verdict, in which SC disqualified PM Nawaz, and chanted slogans against Nawaz Sharif. Addressing to rally PTI Balochsitan president said that the SC decision was historic and it would pave the way end corruption from the country. Workers of both the parties distributed sweets to each other.
However, the PML-N leadership advises the workers to stay calm.
