School Bus Targeted in Remote-Controlled Blast in Quetta


Quetta (September 26, 2017): A remote-controlled blast hit a school bus in the outskirt of Quetta.

Levies sources said that in Hanna area a remote-controlled device exploded when a school bus was passing through the area.

The blast damaged front screen of the bus and driver injured slightly. However, all the children onboard the bus remained safe.According to Bomb Disposal Squad, some five to seven kilogramme explosives material was used in the blast.

Soon after the blast, FC and other law enforcement agencies personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.

Security forces arrested some five suspects and shifted them to an undisclosed location for questioning.
