ISLAMABAD: The second meeting of the Kashmir cell has decided to expedite the efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue on all forums.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has chaired the second meeting of Kashmir cell in Foreign Office while President of Azad Kashmir, Law minister, foreign secretary and others were in attendance.
Foreign Minister Qureshi on the occasion informed the participants about the efforts of the government to internationalize the Kashmir issue.
He said the purpose of forming the Kashmir cell is to formulate a joint strategy on the situation in Occupied Kashmir.
Qureshi said he will departure today to attend a session of Human Rights Council where he will present the case of innocent Kashmiris.
He said the council would be asked to take action on human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, adding that the support for innocent Kashmiris bearing the torture of Indian Occupied forces would continue.
